Maya Offer Jewelry Design – A company with 25 years experience in Jewelry

For the past 25 years, Maya and her husband Ehud have been in the business of creating eclectically designed jewelry. The foundation of the business is based upon the rare combination of their artistic talents. Ehud is a painter and sculptor who studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School for Art (to Ehud Offer web site press here); while Maya is a gold & silver crafting graduate of Israel’s prestigious Bezalel Art Academy.
The original collection consists of many pieces that are a combination of gold and silver inlayed with precious and semi-precious stones. In recent years, Maya created a new line of jewelry consisting of glass and glass products- including Judaica and objects d’art. All products are manufactured in the company’s studio.
Due to its unique style, Maya’s jewelry has been selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an official gift and has been presented to public figures such as Queen Nur of Jordan, United States First Lady Hillary Clinton and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
Today, her products may be found in galleries, museums and jewelry stores throughout Europe, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada and the USA.

About the Studio
The studio is located in Tzur Hadassa (a medium-sized community in the Jerusalem Hills) and managed by both Maya and Ehud Offer. The studio employs a number of artisans, many of whom graduated from art academies. The company designs three separate lines of products, each of which is unique:

The Silver jewelry Line: the first line created, and still to this day, remains its specialty. All products of this are based on 925 sterling silver are decorated with 9K gold and/ or semi-precious stones.

The Gold jewelry Line: incorporates 18K or 14K yellow and white gold with precious stones,

The Glass jewelry Line:  The specialty of this line is are the glass beaded or one bead necklaces. The long and careful manufacturing process begins by meting colored Moreno glass rods, imported from Italy. The rods are melted in a flame, and the liquid glass is then molded and shaped into the beads over metal rods. Each bead is unique in color, permutation and form. In addition, the Glass Line employs fusing techniques, which incorporates a variety of colored and shaped glass plates melted in a special oven to the point of desired shape.
